Our new fleeces
At our October event in Latheronwheel, on Sunday the 26th, we received our new fleeces. We received funding through the Moray Firth Radio Cash for Kids and the Dounreay Community Fund, this meant that they were available free of charge for our regulars. The logo turned out really well and the fleeces will come in very handy.
Marina Swanson, East Caithness ranger and event organiser said:
“The fleece jackets give the volunteers a sense of identity when out in the field undertaking valuable conservation work and also keep our volunteers warm and relatively clean. We are delighted that MFR Cash for Kids and the Dounreay Communities Fund were able to help us and contribute to the great work the volunteers undertake throughout the year.”
It really turned out much much better than I thought it would have! Totally impressed with modern embroidery.
