Wildlife garden at Bower Primary School – Feb ’11
On sunday 20th we met at Bower Primary School. It was a cold windy day but we had a good turnout. Our main aim was to get the willow bower in the wildlife garden back under control. It had been neglected for several years and was now too difficult for the children to work with. We cut back all the mature growth and used the young stems to weave into curves and give it some shape. It will now hopefully be something the children can get some use out of.
